Assets > Browses > Browse on Asset Cost Centers

You use this program to view the cost centers to which your assets are allocated.

Asset cost centres are defined within Asset branches.

Asset Cost Centers are maintained using the Asset Cost Centers program.

You can generate a report of Asset cost centers currently defined using the Asset List of Cost Centers program.

Before you can view Asset cost centre details, you need to indicate the Asset branch for the cost centres.


	For help on toolbar and menu options not listed below, refer to Browse Programs and Browses. To view additional functions available, press Ctrl+F1 (see Listview functions).

	Copy	Select this to copy cost centers between branches. You can copy all cost centers or a selected list of cost centers.
Branch		Indicate the Asset Branch code for which you want to view/maintain cost centers. Entering and accepting a valid Asset branch displays the cost centers for that branch and enables the toolbar and menu options. Branch codes are maintained using the Browse on Asset Branches program.

Branch

Indicate the Asset Branch code for which you want to view/maintain cost centers.

Branch codes are maintained using the Browse on Asset Branches program.

This screen is displayed when you select the Copy option.

The options enable you to copy cost centers between branches. You can choose to copy all cost centers or a selected list of valid cost centers.

Field	Value	Description
From branch		This indicates the branch from which the cost centers will be copied. This is the branch for which you selected to display the information in the listview.
To branch		Indicate the branch to which you want to copy the cost centers.
Cost centers		These options enable you to indicate which cost centers must be copied.
	All	Select this to copy all cost centers held against the From branch to the branch indicated in the To branch field.
	Selected	Select this to copy only some of the cost centers from this branch to the branch specified in the To branch field above. You use the List function to indicate the cost centers you want to copy.
	List	This function is only enabled if you chose to copy only Selected cost centers. It enables you to enter a list of cost centers codes to be copied.
Start Copy		Select this to copy the cost centers according to your selections.
Cancel		Select this to ignore your selections and return to the listview without copying any cost centers.

Information is only displayed in the listview once you have entered and accepted a valid Asset branch.

The following information is included in the listview:

Asset cost center

This indicates the code for the cost center within the Asset branch selected.
Description

This indicates the description for the cost center code.
