You use this program to define the organization lists used in the Contact Management Query program. You can create static lists containing customers, suppliers and accounts, and lists based on conditional statements.
This program is called when maintaining a list using the Organization Lists program.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Copy | Duplicate the organization list you are currently maintaining. |
Rename | Change the name of the organization list to the name you entered in the Description field. |
Notepad | Add free format notes to the current organization list. |
Preview | Preview the organization list you have defined and confirm the accuracy of the conditions you have set. |
From this window you will select the organization lists to display in the Organization List pane of the Contact Management Query program.
You can choose to display a static list of customers, suppliers and accounts, or to add conditions to them.
If you add conditions to an organization list, the following sequence will occur when they are displayed:
All the conditions you have defined are applied in the Organization List pane.
Any Included organizations are applied, even if they don't fulfil the conditions you have set.
Any Excluded organizations are removed from the organizational list, even if they do fulfil the conditions you have set.
Field | Description |
---|---|
List of organizations | Select Configure against these fields to select the organizations you want displayed in the Organization List. |
Included organizations | Select the organizations to include in the Organization
List. If conditions have been set, select the organizations you want included in the organization list even if they do not match the conditions. |
Excluded organizations | Select the organizations to exclude from the conditions set. This overrides both the conditions and Included organization list. |
Conditions | Select Configure against the fields (Account conditions, Customer conditions, Supplier conditions) to define conditional statements. |
