Classic View Data

You use this program to view all the data within a selected table/file using the classic view.

The program is accessed from the View->Classic View Data option of the Data Dictionary Viewer program.

Only the first 2500 edited characters are displayed.

Field Description
Headings  
Show SQL Column Headings Select this to display the SQL column headings at the top of each column.

This option is selected by default.

Show ISAM Column Headings Select this to view the ISAM file names at the top of each column. You would typically select this option if you were programming using NetExpress as these are the names you would need to use in your program.
Validate Dates Select this to validate all date entries/fields in the table.

This function would typically only be used by developers. A date of 00/00/00 is not considered invalid.

> A greater than sign in the first column of a row indicates that there is an invalid entry in that row.
