You use this program to view details of imported, exported and failed XML documents that are currently being retained.
These include documents processed by the Document Flow Manager and documents created via the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) or B2B (Business to Business) trading systems.
You use the XML Document Control program to configure which documents you want to retain, together with their retention period.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Document type | Changing your selection here changes the contents of
the treeview and listview below. If you have already processed a query (and the results are shown in the results pane), changing your selection here will also clear the treeview and listview below. |
History | Select this to display the history records. If you selected the XML Document Control option: Keep copy of XML documents and the option: Keep history of incoming document, then you can view a copy of the original incoming XML document. |
Failed | Select this to display failed documents only. If you select this option, then the incoming documents that failed (documents with a name that ends with “s.xml”) are displayed. |
Operator | |
All | Select this to display the selected documents for all operators. |
Single | Select this to display the selected documents for a
single operator. You indicate the operator code in the field
provided. If you created an operator code specifically for use by the Document Flow Manager (e.g. __DFM) then you can enter this as the operator code and only display the documents related to the Document Flow Manager. |
Date selection | To reduce the number of documents you can select the date(s) for which you want to display the document information. |
Start Processing | Select this to display the documents in the listview according to your selections. |
The treeview on the left displays information in accordance with the information supplied and the selections made in the Document Flow Manager Setup program. When you highlight an entry in the treeview, the listview on the right displays the corresponding documents.
If you selected a Document type of History you can view the XML by right clicking on a line in the listview and selecting the option View XML document.
If you selected a Document type of Failed the following options are displayed when you right-click on a line in the listview:
Field | Description |
---|---|
View error XML document | Select this to display the document containing the error message. |
View transformed XML document | Select this to display the document after it was
transformed using the XSL/T document. Against the contract there is an option to apply an XSL/T transformation file to the incoming XML document before it is processed. You typically transform an incoming document such as a purchase order from a customer if it needs to be converted from that format to the SYSPRO sales order format before processing. If you did not specify that the incoming document must be transformed, then the document contains one element - <NoTranslationRequired />. |
View original XML document | Select this to display the contents of the original document. |
Mark as actioned | Select this to flag the document as actioned. You typically select this option when you have manually corrected the document and resubmitted it, or the originator has sent you a replacement document. |
