A resource planning schedule is a report or query on the anticipated load quantities for resources by date.
You use this program (after you have run the Resource Explosion program) to print a list of the quantities required for each resource in up to nine time periods across the page.
You can define a range of resources on which to base the report, as well as the intervals at which to total the resource requirements. You can optionally select to print resource descriptions and cumulative quantities.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Time period | |
Days per period |
Indicate the number of days that each time period represents. This defaults to your entry at the option: Default time period length (days) (Requirements Planning Setup) but can be changed, if required. You do not have to re-run the Resource Explosion program if you require the time period to be changed. |
First period start date |
Indicate the date from which you want the first period to begin. Any resources required up to the entered date become prior, and any resources required after the 11th period become forward requirements. |
Options | |
Print resource descriptions | Select this to print a description of the resource code. |
Print cumulative quantities | Select this to print cumulative quantities for the resource code. The 9th period will indicate the total quantity required for that resource over all periods. |
These options enable you to apply a theme to the report and to define multiple output destinations for the report once it has been compiled (SRS Output Options).
