For example: If you enabled the Order number moved to invoice number setup option (Sales Order Setup) then the invoice number is allocated when you create the order, but is only actually created when you generate the invoice.

Alternatively, you can release a number of orders for invoicing and then use the Document Print program to print the invoices in batch mode. In this case, the invoice numbers are allocated on release, but only created when you print the invoices.

All Includes allocated and created invoices.
Not created Includes only allocated invoices (enabling you to track invoice numbers that were allocated, but not yet created).
Only created Includes only created invoices.
Exclude conversion invoices option
Exclude conversion invoices   Excludes invoices added to the AR Invoice Reference table when you converted from a prior release of SYSPRO.

Numbering considerations

  • The Allocated date, Allocated time, Created date and Created time columns are set to zero if the invoice was allocated prior to conversion to SYSPRO 6.1 or the Allow same number for different customers setup option (Sales Order Setup) was changed from being selected to deselected (which rebuilds the AR Invoice Reference table).

  • The Allocated by operator and Created by operator columns displays SETUP if the Allow same number for different customers setup option was changed from being selected to deselected.

CONVSN is displayed if the invoice was allocated prior to conversion to SYSPRO 6.1.
