You use this program to selectively correct rejected transactions that were indicated on the report produced by the Sales Analysis Update program.
The sales analysis files cannot be updated until the transaction details for each transaction are valid.
A valid Register number, Line number, Detail line number and Invoice number combination (together with the correct Posting year and Posting month) must be entered before you can change the incorrect data held against the transaction. This information is available from the report produced by the Sales Analysis Update program.

Posting year | Indicate the posting year in which the transaction took place. |
Posting month | Indicate the posting month in which the transaction took place. |
Register number | Indicate the register number in which the transaction is listed. |
Line number | Indicate the line number for the transaction. |
Detail line number | Indicate the detail line number for the transaction. |
Invoice | Indicate the invoice number for the transaction. |
Transaction Details | Select this to amend the branch, salesperson, product class and geographic area for the rejected transaction. |
This screen is displayed when you select the Transaction Details function.
Before the sales analysis update can be run successfully, all sales transactions must have a valid branch, salesperson, product class and geographic area assigned to them.

Enter a valid salesperson for the transaction. Salespersons are maintained using the Browse on Salespersons program. |

Enter a valid geographic area for the transaction. Geographic areas are maintained using the Browse on Geographic Areas program. |
Save |
Select this to save the changes you made. All the transaction detail fields must be valid before you can save your changes. |
Cancel | Select this to return to the previous screen. |
Maintain sales transactions
Using the report of rejections produced by the Sales Analysis Update program, enter the data required on the first screen of the Sales Analysis Transaction Maintenance program.
Select the Transaction Details function.
Enter valid data for the fields displayed.
You can use the Browse function against each field to select a valid entry.
Select Save to save the corrected information.
Repeat this procedure for each rejection listed on the report produced by the Sales Analysis Update program.
Re-run the Sales Analysis Update program to check that all rejections have been cleared and to update the sales analysis files.
