You use this program to define conversion factors to apply when purchasing items where the unit of measure in which you price the item differs from the unit of measure in which you order the item.
The conversion is applied when purchasing stocked or non-stocked items. If no match is found then you need to manually enter a conversion factor.
When purchasing stocked items, the order quantity can be entered in either the stocking or alternate unit of measure defined against the item (Stock Code Maintenance).
