You use this program to maintain billing schedules for a contract.
Schedules can be created from the Quotation Confirmation program or from the Job Entry program, using the Billing Schedules program. Billing schedules for the Billing method: Percentage of costs accumulated are created using the Create Schedules function of the Browse on Contracts program.

Delete | Select this icon to delete the schedule currently displayed. |
Save |
Select this to save the information you entered. A check is performed to ensure that the accumulated amounts for all schedules for the contract do not exceed the total contract amount. |
Contract | Enter the contract code for which you want to maintain the billing schedule. |
When changing a schedule, you can change the Value or Percentage to bill. |

Job |
This indicates the job within the contract for which you are maintaining the schedule. This must be a hierarchical job and must be linked to the contract entered in the Contract field. |
Schedule date | This indicates the date on which the schedule must be created. It must be a working day. |
Hierarchy | Select this to use the Hierarchies for Job program to select the specific head/section for which you want to define the billing percentage to apply. |

Estimated completion date | This indicates the contract completion date. |

Value | Select this to bill the customer for the amount entered in the Value field. |
Percentage | Select this to bill the customer according to the percentage of the selling price defined in the Percentage field. |
Value |
Indicate the value to be billed on the selected date. This value cannot exceed the selling price of the job. This applies if you selected to bill a Value. |
Percentage |
Indicates the percentage of the selling price to be billed on the selected date. This applies if you selected to bill a Percentage. |
Schedule types | |
Posted |
This indicates whether the Billing Schedules program was used to post the schedule for the job/contract combination displayed. This option is automatically set by the system when the schedule is posted and cannot be changed manually. |
Not posted | Select this to indicate that the schedule has not yet been posted for the job/contract combination displayed. |
Retention schedule |
Select this to add a retention schedule to the currently displayed job/contract combination. If you selected to define a retention as a percentage, then you will only be able to add additional retention schedules if the total percentage of retention schedules already defined is less than 100%. You would typically add retention schedules using this option if you did not create retention schedules using the Billing Schedules program or if you want to change the retention schedules previously defined. This option is only enabled if:

You cannot add schedules to a contract when the contact's billing method is set to Manual entry (Browse on Contracts).
Application Help Panes provide step-by-step instructions for various functions within the program, including a brief overview of what the program does, what setup options are required and how to personalize the program. The intention is that the pane provides information that is uncluttered and easy to navigate.
You can embed an Application Help Pane:
in the main SYSPRO menu
in any program with panes, if not using roles
when adding a role layout in Design Mode.
Inserting Application Help
You would typically follow this procedure to display help for the current program in a customized pane that can be pinned to the program window.
Information includes step-by-step instructions for the various functions available within the program, including a brief overview of what the program does, what setup options are required and how to personalize the program.
Open the program for which you want to insert application help into a customized pane.
This functionality is only available for a program that has panes.
Right-click any form field.
You can also click the triangle menu icon that appears in the title area of a pane.
Select Insert Application Help from the context-sensitive menu.
The application help appears in a pane within your program. You can reposition the pane using the docking stickers or pin it to the program window.
Removing the Application Help pane
If you no longer want to display application help in a pane for your current program, you can simply remove it.
Select the Close icon in the right-hand corner of the application help pane.
Confirm that you want to delete the pane.
