You use this program to maintain supplementary unit codes (used in Landed Cost Tracking and EC VAT systems) required for use in SYSPRO.
A supplementary unit is typically required when it is a more appropriate measure of particular goods than the net mass and allows a greater degree of comparison and analysis. They are assigned to stock items using the Stock Code Maintenance program.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Unit code | Indicates the supplementary unit code you are currently adding or maintaining. |
Description | Enter a description for the supplementary unit code (e.g 'Kilogram of hydrogen peroxide'). |
Extended code | Enter additional information about the supplementary
unit (e.g. kgH2O2 - the formula for 'kilogram of hydrogen peroxide'). |
