Detail Lines for Sales Order

You use this program to view detail line information for a sales order.

Toolbar and menu

Field Description
File  
Zoom Select this to drill down to the detail entries for the transaction.
Functions Only the applicable functions are enabled. For example, if no job is attached to the order line, then the Jobs option is disabled.
Lots

Select this to view lot details for the order line, if applicable.

Serial Select this to view serial details for the order line, if applicable.

This option is disabled if the stock item is traceable, as the serials are inextricably linked to the lot number and are therefore queried via the lot number.

Bins

Select this to view bin details for the order line, if applicable.

This option is disabled if the stock item is traceable, as the bins are inextricably linked to the lot number and are therefore queried via the lot number.

Reserved Allocations Select this to use the SO Lots, Bins, Serials Allocations program to details of reserved lots, bins and serials for the line. This only applies if you selected tor reserve stock and to Request lots/bins/serials when reserving stock.
Jobs Select this to use the WIP Job Maintenance program to view job details for the order, if applicable.
Requisitions Select this to use the Requisition Routing Details program to view requisition details for the order, if applicable.
Purchase Order Select this to view purchase order details for the order. This applies only if a purchase order is linked to the sales order.

Once the purchase order line is fully receipted, the link via the sales order is removed, although the reference to the sales order on the purchase order remains for full enquiry purposes.

Dispatch Select this to view dispatch details for the order.
Supply Chain Transfer Select this to view supply chain transfer details for the order.

You can prevent operators from viewing the transfer cost for supply chain transfer orders by denying access to the operator activity: S/O Show cost/profit. Operators will be unable to view the transfer cost when browsing on sales order lines.

Options

Indicate what details you want to view. Selections include:

  • Show stocked lines
  • Show freight charges
  • Show miscellaneous charges
  • Show comment lines
  • Show non-stocked lines
  • Include completed lines
Sales order

Indicate the sales order number for which you want to display the details in the listview.

Listview columns

The detail lines you selected against the sales order (see Options) are displayed in a listview.

Column Description
Line number Indicates line number within the sales order.
Stock code Indicates the code of the item sold.
Stock code description Indicates the description for the stock code sold.
Order quantity Indicates the quantity of the item ordered.
Unit of measure Indicates the unit of measure for the order quantity.
Warehouse Indicates the warehouse from which the item was sold.
Ship quantity Indicates the quantity of the item which was shipped.
Back order quantity Indicates the quantity of the item not yet shipped.
Price Indicates the unit price of the item.
Price unit of measure Indicates the unit of measure for the price.
Ship date

Indicates the ship date for the order.

For Scheduled Orders, Forward Orders and Supply Chain Transfers, this displays the ship date defined against the order line and is the ship date for the order line.

For all other order types, this displays the ship date defined against the order header and is the ship date for the order.

Hierarchical job Indicates the job number to which the sales order is linked. This applies to hierarchical orders.
Revision Indicates the revision number of the stock item and is displayed if the item is ECC controlled.
Release Indicates the release number of the stock item and is displayed if the item is ECC controlled.
Reserved allocation A 'Y' in this column indicates that reserved allocations exist for the line. You can select the Reserved Allocations option from the Functions menu to view details of these allocations.
Reserved quantity Indicates the quantity of the item which was placed in reserve. This only applies if you selected to reserve stock for sales orders.
