Release Review and Confirmation

You use this program to review details of blanket sales order releases according to selection criteria.

Field Value Description
Start Review   Displays release details according to selection criteria you specify.
Change Criteria   Enables you to change the review criteria.

Blanket SO and Releases Review Criteria

Field Value Description
Release manager details    
Release manager selection   Indicate the release manager(s) for which you want to display the releases.
Customer details    
Customer selection   Indicate the customer(s) for which you want to display the releases.
Blanket SO & Release customer    
Customer stock code details    
Customer stock code selection   Indicate the customer stock code(s) for which you want to display the releases.
Customer purchase order details    
Customer purchase order selection   Indicate the customer purchase order(s) for which you want to display the releases.
Confirmation details    
Confirmation selection   Indicate whether you want to display confirmed releases or unconfirmed releases.

Blanket SO and Releases Review

Field Value Description
Review   Review and confirm the release for the line currently highlighted in the list view using the Blanket SO and Releases Review and Confirmation program (only applicable to unconfirmed releases).

This enables you to reconcile the cumulative delivery position between yourself and the customer (balancing phase) and to compare the delivery status of the current release to the proposed delivery of the new release (building phase).

[Note]

If the totals displayed for Quantity delivered and Quantity received on the Transactions Detail pane of the Deliveries Maintenance program are not equal, then the Deliveries Maintenance program is loaded.

You must balance what the customer confirms he received with what you say you delivered, before you can process the next release for delivery.

Release Data   View detailed information held against a release master for the entry currently highlighted in the list view using the Release Master Query program.
Stock Code   View detailed information for the stock item currently highlighted in the list view using the Inventory Query program.

Inserting Application Help

You would typically follow this procedure to display help for the current program in a customized pane that can be pinned to the program window.

Information includes step-by-step instructions for the various functions available within the program, including a brief overview of what the program does, what setup options are required and how to personalize the program.

  1. Open the program for which you want to insert application help into a customized pane.

    This functionality is only available for a program that has panes.

  2. Right-click any form field.

    You can also click the triangle menu icon that appears in the title area of a pane.

  3. Select Insert Application Help from the context-sensitive menu.

    The application help appears in a pane within your program. You can reposition the pane using the docking stickers or pin it to the program window.

Removing the Application Help pane

If you no longer want to display application help in a pane for your current program, you can simply remove it.

  1. Select the Close icon in the right-hand corner of the application help pane.

  2. Confirm that you want to delete the pane.
