Release Master Query

You use this program to view details held against a release master for a customer.

Toolbar and menu

Field Description
Customer Indicate the customer for whom you want to query release master information.
Releases Select this to view a list of blanket sales contracts by customer (see Blanket SO and Releases by Customer).

Purchase Order Details

This displays the purchase order details for the line currently highlighted in the Customer Purchase Order listview.

Column Description
Stock code Indicates the SYSPRO stock code for the contract.
Status Indicates the current status of the release read from the BsoRelMaster (BSOREL) table.

The status comes from the status of the Sales Order when the lines are created. The following statuses are displayed:

  • S- Suspended

    This indicates that the BSO header has been created and the Schedule Order Header is created (in a status of Suspense).

    When you set up the contract, the sales order header for the contract is created and the order is created in a status of Suspense. It has no detail lines at this stage.

  • A - Active

    When you process the Schedule order, the status is changed from Suspense to Active.

  • C - Closed

  • R - Reopened

Any other order status (Open Backorder, In Warehouse, Cancelled, etc.) is displayed as spaces.

Warehouse Indicates the warehouse from which the stock must be issued.
Release manager Indicates the manager or senior person responsible for the releases.
Contract quantity Indicates the total quantity to be supplied against the contract.
Base date

Indicates the start date of the life of the release master, entered in the Release Maintenance program.

Last invoice Indicates the last invoice number confirmed as received.
Invoice date Indicates the date on which the last invoice was processed.
Shipment days Indicates the number of days it takes to deliver the item (i.e. how long it takes dispatched goods to reach the customer). This is used to calculate the Ship date on the sales order.
Day drops Indicates the number of daily deliveries that must be made.
Week drops Indicates the number of weekly deliveries that must be made.
Week day Indicates the day of the week on which deliveries that must be made.
Month drops Indicates the number of monthly deliveries that must be made.
Month day Indicates the day of the month on which deliveries that must be made.
Order Indicates the sales order number for the contract.
Blanket sales contract Indicates the contract reference number.
Expiry date Indicates the expiry date of the contract.

Sales order lines

View the sales order lines confirmed by the last run of the Release Review and Confirmation program (see Detail Lines for Sales Order).

Delivery history

View the delivery history for the selected customer (see Deliveries Maintenance).

Release history

View the history for the cumes delivered (see Blanket SO and Releases Monthly Cumulative History).

Program access

Application Help Pane

Application Help Panes provide step-by-step instructions for various functions within the program, including a brief overview of what the program does, what setup options are required and how to personalize the program. The intention is that the pane provides information that is uncluttered and easy to navigate.

You can embed an Application Help Pane:

  • in the main SYSPRO menu

  • in any program with panes, if not using roles

  • when adding a role layout in Design Mode.

Inserting Application Help

You would typically follow this procedure to display help for the current program in a customized pane that can be pinned to the program window.

Information includes step-by-step instructions for the various functions available within the program, including a brief overview of what the program does, what setup options are required and how to personalize the program.

  1. Open the program for which you want to insert application help into a customized pane.

    This functionality is only available for a program that has panes.

  2. Right-click any form field.

    You can also click the triangle menu icon that appears in the title area of a pane.

  3. Select Insert Application Help from the context-sensitive menu.

    The application help appears in a pane within your program. You can reposition the pane using the docking stickers or pin it to the program window.

Removing the Application Help pane

If you no longer want to display application help in a pane for your current program, you can simply remove it.

  1. Select the Close icon in the right-hand corner of the application help pane.

  2. Confirm that you want to delete the pane.
