Inventory Notations

You use the Inventory Notations program to generate a list of inventory notations currently defined.

Inventory notations are maintained using the Notes menu of the Inventory Query program.

Report Options

Field Description
Sequence  
Notation type Select this to generate the report in notation type sequence.

If you select this sequence then each notation type selected is printed together with the stock item(s) against which that notation is defined.
Stock code Select this to generate the report in stock code sequence.

If you select this sequence then each stock item selected is listed together with the notation type(s) defined against it.
Include notation type Indicate the types of notations you want to include in the report.

The following notation types can be included in the report:

  • Dangerous goods handling text
  • Inspection text
  • Purchase order additional text
  • Sales order additional text
  • Technical specification
  • Job narrations

Selections

In addition to the report options that can be selected, the following selection criteria can be defined:

  • Stock code selection

    Inventory notations are defined against specific stock items.

    Indicate the stock item(s) for which you want to generate the report.

Output Options

These options enable you to apply a theme to the report and to define multiple output destinations for the report once it has been compiled (SRS Output Options).
