WIP Inspection Report

You use this program to produce a report listing the manufactured quantity, the quantities in inspection, accepted, scrapped and reworked per inspection reference.

Report Options

Field Description
Report sequence  
Reference Select this to print the report in inspection reference sequence.
Stock code Select this to print the report in stock code sequence.
Job Select this to print the report in job number sequence.
Report options  
Include completed inspection references

Select this to include completed inspection references.

Inspection references are marked as complete when:

Quantity accepted + Quantity scrapped + Quantity reworked = Quantity manufactured.

Print references for serialized items only Select this to print the report for serialized items only.
Include serial numbers

Select this to print the serial numbers for the serialized items on the report.

This option is only enabled if you selected the option: Print references for serialized items only.

Serial numbers are only printed if you captured them when you receipted the job into inspection.

Print references for lot traceable items only Select this to print the report for lot traceable items only.
Print manufacturing u/m quantities This applies if you are using Manufacturing unit of measure (WIP Setup - General 2 tab). In addition, you need to have defined a Manufacturing unit of measure for the relevant stock items (Stock Code Maintenance) and used the Manufacturing unit of measure in the Bills of Materials.

Select this to print the manufacturing unit of measure for the quantities on the report.

If you do not select this option, then the stocking unit of measure for the quantities is printed.

Selection criteria

Field Description
WIP inspection reference selection Indicate the reference(s) for which you want to generate the report.
Stock code selection

Indicate the stock code(s) you want to include in the report.

  • Rev/Rel

    This option is only available if you selected to print the report for a single stock code.

    It enables you to define the single revision and release for the selected stock code to include in the report.

    The wording for this field (as well as the column headings on the report) defaults to the text defined against the User-defined fields: Revision and Release (Bill of Materials Setup - Engineering Change Control tab).

    This option is available only if Engineering Change Control is installed (Company Maintenance - Registration tab).

    In addition, the stock control level must be set to Revision or Release (Bill of Materials Setup - Engineering Change Control tab).

Job selection Indicate the job(s) you want to include in the report.
Warehouse selection Indicate the warehouse(s) you want to include in the report.

Output Options

These options enable you to apply a theme to the report and to define multiple output destinations for the report once it has been compiled (SRS Output Options).
