Bill of Materials > What-if Costing > What-if Material Costs

What-if Material Costs

You use this program to change the what-if costs for individual bought out items.

This enables you to determine the consequences of cost changes made to materials, without affecting existing costs held in the system.

Within this program you can indicate that the current material costs for selected stock items are to be transferred to the what-if costs, so that you can work on what-if costs that are the same as the bill of material costs.

After making the required changes, the modified stock codes can be re-costed using the Cost Implosion program.
