You use this program to calculate the suggested minimum and maximum levels for a selection set of stock items.
You typically use this program to calculate the suggested min/max levels for the bulk of your company's stock codes, and use the IO Stock Levels Modeling program for those items that require more attention (e.g. your 'A' class items).
When you load the IO Batch Levels Calculation program, the IO Selections program is displayed, enabling you to indicate the selection set for which you want to calculate the suggested min/max levels.
When you select the Start Processing option from the IO Selections program, the suggested min/max levels for the selection set are calculated.
You can view the results in the IO Stock Levels Modeling program, by selecting the Batch option from the Selection menu and entering the selection set for which you calculated the min/max levels.
