You use this program to indicate the stock items for which you want to run various Inventory Forecasting and Inventory Optimization programs in SYSPRO.
You can either use a pre-defined selection set (see Selection Set Maintenance) or you can manually indicate the stock codes and options to use.
The window heading for the IO Selections program defaults to the name of program from which it is loaded. For example, when you run the Approve Draft Forecasts program, the IO Selections program is loaded with the title IO Approve Draft Forecast.

selection set. This option is selected by default and you

set field below. If you deselect this option, then all the other panes are enabled and you can indicate the selections you require. Note that this option is selected and disabled by default when using the IO Batch Policy Maintenance and IO Copy Policies programs. |

Selection set | Indicate the selection set you want to
process. When you select to browse on the selection sets, only the sets available to the program you are running are displayed in the IO Selection Sets listview. The availability of a selection set in a specific program is defined against each selection set in the Selection Set Maintenance program.

Description | This indicates the description of the selection set you selected to process. | ||||
Date last used | This displays the date on which the selection set was last used. | ||||
Run date | The run date is available in the Forecast Accuracy Review, Forecast Accuracy and the Service Level Review programs. This run date enables you to run the programs using forecast snapshots which allows you to see the change in accuracy over time. The run date used in the Excess Stock Review program is the date on which the Requirements Calculation was run. |

Reference | Enter a reference if required. This reference is written to any forecasts (i.e. draft or current) generated by the batch forecast run. |
The options available in this pane depend on the program from which the IO Selections program was called.

You use these options to indicate the inventory items you want to use in the selected program.
If you did not select to use a selection set, then the List options against the selections are not available.

The IO Selections program is a generic selection program, which is loaded whenever you run any of the following programs:
