RMAs Issued

You use this program to view details of RMAs issued to all or a selective range of customers.

This program can be accessed by selecting the Browse icon from the RMA number field of the RMA Query or RMA Issues and Receipts programs.

Toolbar and menu

Field Description
Options  
Options Select this to indicate the customers and stock codes for which you want to view details of RMAs issued (see Options).
Preferences Select this to indicate your preferences for displaying details of RMAs issued (see Preferences).
Functions  
Query Select this to use the RMA Query program to view detailed information for the highlighted RMA.
Sequence

Select the sequence in which you want to view the RMAs issued.

One of the following sequences can be selected:

  • RMA number
  • Customer
  • Stock Code
  • Serial Number

If you selected the preference: Show RMA detail lines, then the options to sequence by RMA Number and by Customer are disabled, as the RMA Detail table is used to display the information.

If you did not select the preference: Show RMA detail lines, then the options to sequence by Stock code and by Serial Number are disabled as the RMA Header table is used to display the information.

Options

This screen is displayed when you select the Options option from the Options menu.

Field Description
Accept Options Select this to return to the listview which now displays the RMAs as per your selections.
Close Select this to ignore any selections you made and to return to the listview.
Stock codes  
Stock code selection This option enables you to indicate the stock code(s) for which you want to view RMAs in the listview.
Customers  
Customer selection This option enables you to indicate the customer(s) for whom you want to view RMAs in the listview.

Preferences

This screen is displayed when you select the Preferences option from the Options menu.

Field Description
RMA selection This option enables you to indicate the customer(s) for whom you want to view RMAs in the listview.

one or more of the following statuses can be indicated:

  • 0 - In process
  • 1 - Open
  • 2 - Partially Closed
  • X - Open with Cross Shipments
  • 9 - Closed
RMA detail selection

These options only apply when you select to display RMAs in Serial Number sequence.
Show RMA detail lines Select this to display the detail lines for the selected RMAs.

When you select this preference, the options to sequence by RMA Number and by Customer are disabled, as the RMA Detail table is used to display the information.

When you do not select this preference, the options to sequence by Stock code and by Serial Number are disabled as the RMA Header table is used to display the information.
Save Preferences Select this to save your selections against your operator code and to return to the listview, which now displays the RMAs as per your selections.
Close Select this to save your selections for the current run of the program only and to return to the listview.

Listview

The RMAs currently defined for the customer are displayed in this listview.

Notes and warnings

Restrictions and limits

  • RMAs linked to salespersons to whom you have been denied access are not displayed (Operator Maintenance - Security tab).
