You use the GRN Price Variance program to generate a report of either standard cost price variances or non-matched invoice variances for matched GRN's in stock code sequence.
A standard cost price variance indicates the difference between the standard cost by which inventory is incremented and the actual purchase cost incorporated in the GRN suspense account.
A non-matched invoice variance occurs when the operator does not match any GRN's within the AP Invoice Posting program and inputs an invoice value.
The GRN price variance is also referred to as the purchase price variance.
