AR Cash Journal Report

You use the AR Cash Journal Report program to generate a report of journals created from transactions posted using the Payments and Adjustments and Counter Sales programs.

These journals are created by the AR Payments GL Integration program. The AR Cash Journal Report serves as an audit trail of Accounts Receivable payment transactions processed.

This report can be run at any time and as often as required.

Report Options

Field Description
Print summary journal page

Select this to print a summary journal page together with the detailed cash journal.

If you do not select this option, then only one-line totals are printed.

[Note]

If you processed a single cash journal against multiple A/R branches and you reprint this journal for a single or a range of branches, then the values printed on the summary journal page are the accumulated values for the entire journal (i.e. for all branches processed on the journal and not only for the branches you selected to reprint).

Reprint Select this to reprint journals that were previously printed.

You can only reprint cash journals for as long as you are retaining Cash journals (Accounts Receivable Setup - History tab).

Cash journals are deleted as part of the Purge function of the AR Period End program.

Selections

In addition to the report options that can be selected, the following selection criteria can be defined when you reprint the report:

[Note]

Output Options

These options enable you to apply a theme to the report and to define multiple output destinations for the report once it has been compiled (SRS Output Options).

Report Details

If you are using Withholding tax (Tax Options), then total of the Withholding tax value plus the payment amount is included in the Net column on the details page. In addition, the total of the Withholding tax value plus the payment amount is included in the Checks received total on the Totals page.
