You use this program to view detailed purchase order requisition information.
A typical use of this program would be to track the status of a requisition, typically in response to a query from an internal staff member.
Requisitions can be queried by requisition number or by requisition user code.
This program can be run at any time. There are no dependencies between this program and any other program.
If you are new to this query, then the following information will help you achieve the best results:
If you know the requisition number, then you can enter it directly and press the Tab or Enter key to view the information. Alternatively, you can query requisitions by requisition user.
If you do not know the requisition number, then you can use the browse icon to locate the requisition.
You can personalize this query in a number of ways. These include:

Requisition | Enter the requisition number you want to
query. You can use the Browse icon to use the Requisitions program to select a requisition number. If you selected the By User option from the Sequence menu, then you can only enter requisition numbers originated by the requisition user you entered in the User field. |

User | Enter the requisition user for whom you want to view requisitions in the query. Only those requisitions originated by the selected requisition user can be viewed.You can use the Browse icon to use the Browse on Requisition Users program to select a requisition user.

You use the Preferences option from the Options menu to indicate selectively which requisitions you want to view based on the requisition status.

Select All | Select this to display requisitions in all statuses in the query. |

Save Preferences | Save these preferences against your operator code and use them for future runs of the program until next you change them. |

You select the Requisition Custom Fields option from the Field Selector to use the Custom Form Entry program to maintain custom form information for the requisition header.

Requisition status | This indicates the current status of the requisition header and is updated when you maintain a requisition. See Statuses. |
Originator | This indicates the requisition user code of the person who originated the requisition. |
Date created | This indicates the date on which the requisition was created. |
Total value | This indicates the total value of the requisition, net of discount and including taxes. |
Next line number | This indicates the next line number to use if you were to add a line to the requisition. |
Document format | This indicates the document format used to print the requisition. Document formats are maintained using the Purchase Order Document Format program. |
This pane displays information relating to the requisition user who originated the requisition. Most of this information will have been entered using the Browse on Requisition Users program.

This indicates the requisition line number. When you highlight a line number, additional information relating to that line is displayed in the Requisition Line information pane. |
Originator | This indicates the requisition user code of the person who originated the requisition. |
Stock code | This indicates the stock code on the requisition line. |
Long description |
This field indicates the default stock code description, if a valid stock code was entered. For non-stocked items, the description is entered manually. |
Order quantity | This indicates the order quantity for the line. |
Uom | This indicates the unit of measure for the order quantity. |
Due date | This indicates the date on which the items are required. |
Holder | This indicates the requisition user who is currently holding the requisition line. |
Supplier | This indicates the supplier entered against the requisition line. |
Price | This indicates the unit price of the item. |
Price uom | This indicates the unit of measure for the price. |
Customer | This indicates the customer for whom the requisition line was originated. |
Customer purchase order | This indicates the customer's purchase order number. |
Catalogue | This indicates the supplier's catalogue number or stock code reference. |
Tax code | This indicates the tax code applicable to the requisition line. |
Buyer | This indicates the buyer responsible for purchasing the goods on the purchase order created from the requisition. |
Product class | This indicates the product class relevant to the item. |
Inspection | This indicates whether the item must be receipted into inspection when it arrives. |
Warehouse | This indicates the warehouse for which the item is being requisitioned. |
Capex | This indicates the capex number relevant to the item. |
Job | This indicates the job number if the requisition line relates to a Work in Progress job. |
Sub contract op | This indicates the sub-contract operation for the item. This only applies if the requisition line is for a non-stocked item and the item relates to a Work in Progress job. |
Ledger code | This indicates the General Ledger code for a non-stocked item. |
Discount | This indicates the discount method applicable to the requisition line. |
Discount code | This indicates the discount code applicable to the requisition line. |
Requisition | This indicates the requisition number to which the requisition line belongs. |
Status | This indicates the status of the requisition. See also Statuses. |
Reason | This indicates the reason entered against the requisition line. |
Purchase order | This indicates the purchase order number created for the requisition line. |
P/order line | This indicates the purchase order line on the purchase order created for the requisition line. |
Asset capex |
This indicates the capex item to which the capex requisition line is linked. This is only displayed if the purchase order requisition was raised from the Asset Capex Items program for a capex requisition line. |
Asset capex line | This indicates the capex requisition line number for which the purchase order requisition was raised. |
Description | This displays the description for the stock item being requisitioned. |
Status date | Indicates the date on which the status was changed, together with the status to which it was changed. |
The information displayed in this pane relates to the currently highlighted requisition line in the Detail Lines listview.

Stock code | This indicates the item for which the requisition was raised. |
Requisition type |
This indicates whether the line is a normal or a stores requisition type. A normal requisition is one from which a purchase order will be created. A store requisition can be an Issue or a Transfer, for which no purchase order is raised. The items are transferred directly from one of your warehouses. |
Stores warehouse |
The stores warehouse applies to Issue and Transfer type requisitions only. For Issues, this is the warehouse into which the item must be issued. For Transfers, this is the source warehouse from which the item will be transferred. |
Include in MRP | This indicates whether the item is included in the Material Requirements Planning calculation. |
Routing | You use this option to view routing information for the currently highlighted requisition line (see Requisition Routing Details). |
Notepad | You use this option to add rich format text to the currently highlighted requisition line (see Notepad Editor). |
Originator | This displays information about the operator who created the requisition: |

You can only view requisition detail lines for those warehouses to which you have been granted access (Operator Maintenance - Security tab - Warehouses).
Inserting Application Help
You would typically follow this procedure to display help for the current program in a customized pane that can be pinned to the program window.
Information includes step-by-step instructions for the various functions available within the program, including a brief overview of what the program does, what setup options are required and how to personalize the program.
Open the program for which you want to insert application help into a customized pane.
This functionality is only available for a program that has panes.
Right-click any form field.
You can also click the triangle menu icon that appears in the title area of a pane.
Select Insert Application Help from the context-sensitive menu.
The application help appears in a pane within your program. You can reposition the pane using the docking stickers or pin it to the program window.
Removing the Application Help pane
If you no longer want to display application help in a pane for your current program, you can simply remove it.
Select the Close icon in the right-hand corner of the application help pane.
Confirm that you want to delete the pane.
